7 attorneys and 2 support staff laid off all within an hour this morning. After we were reassured that the lay off would not happen.

Apparently in New York instead of laying people off they're transferring them to other venues so staff counsel in NY is safe for now
As the one and only minority in the state of Alabama who was laid off yesterday morning, there is no severance. Just a “lump sum” amount to protect the company from future litigation.
Any severance offered?
