Business plans are circulating and senior management has shared additional information with lower level management. Nothing but grim news for IT.
Scrum teams will no longer have analysts. Every analyst will be required to move into a Product Owner role (which are limited) or obtain enough technical training to shift to an engineering or devops role.
All testers will be laid off or have their contracts non-renewed by end of year. Developers will be required to complete their own testing. If you are in a testing role, your job will be excessed regardless of department.
Developers. Get all the Azure certs you can. Plans are shifting with the cloud 2.0 movement and having this knowledge may soon become a requirement.
All salary schedules will be combined for IT. Your region will no longer be considered for pay scale
