IT Town Hall

Riddle me this Batman - how is there an IT workshop going on this week in the Jersey City office and we just had an IT Town Hall where the CIO says there’s nothing new to share. You are leading the workshop! and clearly planning for the IT work... — read more

Post VERP life

Is anyone else feeling vibes from their old and newly hired “younger” coworkers suggesting that they should be retiring soon? Yes I was offered VERP but I’m nowhere near retirement age. Now that I am clearly the oldest person in my group, the... — read more

Isn’t it funny ?

Isn’t it funny the company offered VERP packages to people with old mindsets only to turn around and hire people over 50. Make that make sense.

VERP Payouts

Anyone that received a VERP payout, did they withhold an enormous amount of taxes? I realize it's supplemental income but I'm hearing more like 50% for individuals that already received payouts in Waves 1 and 2.

Annual Fraud Training

Not lay off related but, JFC, can I make the annual fraud training any more painful?!

Was your team nuked by VERP?

They already took us down to the bone back in 2022, in and now they're scooping into the marrow with VERP. I just don't know how sustainable this is. Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Any rumors about backfilling? How many post-VERP... — read more

Company name on paystub

I'm wondering what people's paystub states for the company name. I've been told that some people have "AIG Technologies, Inc." and others state Corebridge Financial.

Nashville office, again?

There's been chatter about reopening a Nashville office. Has anyone else been hearing anything out there?

What now?

Once again the promises made fade away in the distance of the usual Corebridge BS. After years of ups and downs it seemed as if the past few months were finally turning things around just to have it all taken away. Why do we allow ourselves to... — read more

RTO BLO(ws)

Since no one seems to be talking about it here yet, what are your thoughts on the recent RTO announcement? 50 miles seems like an absurd distance considering that all three offices are in major metropolitan areas. Goodbye to an unpaid 2 to 3 hours... — read more

anyone

understand the hatred and hostility toward Corebridge over on the AIG board? It's baffling to me.

Random meeting - layoffs still???

Word is some unexpected meetings have been scheduled between lower level people and higher ups. Can anyone confirm? Also wondering if anyone has heard of any more layoffs to come? These unexpected meetings tend to mean these people are on the... — read more
