Thread regarding Corebridge Financial layoffs

Was your team nuked by VERP?

They already took us down to the bone back in 2022, in and now they're scooping into the marrow with VERP. I just don't know how sustainable this is.

Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Any rumors about backfilling?

How many post-VERP survivors are now wishing that they had been offered the same?

Wow...I've been gone a year and I see it's even worse. I don't miss this horrible company. Glad I am gone. They will not stop until Accenture runs it all. Leave this awful place if you get the chance.

Yep. You get what you paid for. They are back filling with Accenture people. How insulting that they feel you can transfer 10+ years of knowledge from 1 person to another in a matter of a few months. The ship is sinking fast.

Accenture Corebridge partnership is a disaster. The remaining Corebridge workers can’t see the forest for the trees.

Core members of our team are leaving due to VERP. I don’t know how our team will realistically be able to take over that work. I have little faith in offshore workers (who already make up over 70% of IT) with them already being too incompetent to do anything without engaging our entire team.

Senior management don’t care about the company failing . They will just backfill the positions by transitioning the work to Accenture . Their greed has cost the company losing billions of dollars because Accenture is not capable of doing the work.
