I'm wondering what people's paystub states for the company name. I've been told that some people have "AIG Technologies, Inc." and others state Corebridge Financial.

Did you ever hear an explanation as to why that's the case? A while ago, I've heard various levels of management say something along the lines of "We don't want to hear how AIG does things", "We're no longer AIG", "Corebridge is it's own entity now", but yet the name is on some pay stubs lol.
I would image that this could make things kind of confusing if someone is getting a loan or needs to validate employment.
If you live in NY then it says US Life ins Co, otherwise it says American General Life. It won't say Corebridge
