It's hard to believe that you guys and gals are so gullible and meekish concerning your situation. And it is apparent that you didn't get it. "Wake-up calls" are assurances of "not over-sleeping", or missing an appointment or opportunity. Clearly... — read more
Leave the management shills with their jaws hangin'.

ATS Contractor
Does anyone know for sure that ATS is a contracting company?I have heard from others that in the contract it says Federal Contractor. What does that mean?
Heard Sups that have long time served getting the buy out or the axe eventually.
Looks like they are taken buyouts. ATS not gonna have many Sups. Right now about 1 Sup per 10-14 guys. Looks like it's going to be 1 Sup for every 50. Sh-- is getting crazy. All this company cares about is money.
Should YOU become a contractor? Here's a "heads-up" before YOU decide.
I had worked for Cablevision in the Bronx for a little under 20 years. I ended my career with them as a Quality Control technician. Essentially, our team served as the link or liaison between Cablevision and the contractors. There were other... — read more

Facilities outsourced
Facilities last days are coming. Cushman and Wakefield are taking over first week of April . Mechanics will be getting two to three weeks for every year serviced .
You really need to unionize at this point, but if you're still wary about that then how about getting the Trump Administration involved?
You should find a way to make the current situation known to his administration. Here we have a foreign company coming in and buying an American company, then making agreements not to lay people off for a certain period of time, then going around... — read more

Altice have laid off so many Cablevision employees that are US Citizen but kept all the HB1 visa workers.
The HB1 workers are not skilled more than American workers but instead they get a lower wage so it's cheaper to keep them and fire American workers. Such unfair business practice because American workers have to train them to do the work. It is time... — read more
FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY
I have come to the conclusion that we are f&$@ed no matter what we do. If management (sups and managers) are so gung-ho for ats and the new company, why are they taking the buyouts in record numbers. I think I speak for many seasoned techs when I... — read more
ATS offer may be your best shot at continued employment with Altice...
Existing contractor groups can be asked to increase staffing levels and guaranteed a minimum amount of work for doing so. ATS offer will not last forever. It is not an offer they are required to make. As a Altice/Cablevision employee they are giving... — read more
Don't join ATS. Dont do it!!
Don't join ATS. It will put them in an awkward place. Many are on to the scheme, that's why no word on it yet. They need more time to package it up in legal terms. They are counting on techs biting the proverbial carrot. They need the option to scale... — read more
