@1vv, It's not union hype screwing things up for you and your family, it's the lying Dolans and now the lying Altice boys. I've worked union and I've worked non union. take my word for it, THERE IS NO COMPARISON! If companies treated workers correctly out of the goodness of their hearts unions would not exist and would never need to be formed in the first place. Here in the real world they're needed and they're WORTH IT!

We were the leaders of the cable industry one of the highest paid. Now we're the wimps of the industry that can't stand up to mgmt unfortuanately I have to put myself in that even though we tried to unionize the Bronx and we failed, now we are at the mercy of the company. I hope Oakland does that right thing I know Brooklyn did I have the utmost respect ✊ for those guys.
Stop wasting your time gentlemen. These "brainwashed kids" dont understand what its like to have a mortgage, family, and bills also known as responsibilities. Majority of them still live at home with mom and pop rent free with minimal responsibility. They dont understand the benefits of a union, because they choose to ignore the big picture. Why would they need to worry? They have healthcare and get paid every two weeks. What else do they need? and thats the problem which is where their concerns end. All hope is lost educating these little sh1ts. Just get to a vote, hopefully it passes and if not well have to figure out other ways to survive on the island.

don't waste your time trying to educate technicians who are unwilling to be educated.
many inexperienced techs have been indoctrinated into a belief that a union cannot do ANYTHING for them. The belief system has been compounded by Cablevision management as well as other techs that have been bought off.
management has successfully & effectively kept the workforce divided.

techs are about to blindly sign on to a federal contracting company thinking that this is where they need to be in order to remain employed.
complete manipulation is taking place and techs are completely oblivious
keep on trusting them and see how long before you're "touched"
how many techs have really researched Altice's history ?
