Rumor has it that Verizon has set a goal to cut its work force from 130,000 employees to 100,000. I have heard this from managers and peers. Can anyone confirm it?

VZW recruiter are going to be let go Q1. HR will be outsourcing recruitment to a 3rd party. Employees will receive up to 8 weeks of pay x the years with the company & 6 mos benefits. Hold on if you can… especially if you years with company.
