I somehow overcame the fact that I was told in a very ugly way that I am no longer needed here but the timing that this company chooses for cuts is more than reckless. Do they always have to choose the worst possible timing, when people are preparing for the upcoming holidays? Shame on them!

If you've been here more than a year or so you should already know that Verizon gives the gift of unemployment to several hundred or a few thousand employees every holiday season.
Everyone should be aware of the Home for the Holidays plan by now.
Timing didn’t matter to me I’m a Jehovah Witness so yeah .....that’s that.
