Could it be that you have a lot of disgruntled employees ? That is exactly what it is. This is what happens when you choose to ignore the low morale and treat it like BAU when it’s everything but. Sources are saying upcoming shrink in 4th quarter will be the worst in company history based on the trend in stores last several months. Oh but there will probably be an action plan for that right ?

I can't stand a thief!
Sorry I thought the “ shrinkage “ term was in regard to competent Retail Mgmt that actually does something instead of hanging out in the back room and going home early or coming in late. Thus, taking advantage because they believe they can.

You can't steal anything of value or worth while with out raising suspicions. Plus if you even did it often you would get caught by corp security. They would investigate your store and watch all the footage until they found out what happened. It's the systems,
Employee theft has increased quite a bit over the last two years in the retail stores. I suspect the bitterness in pay changes because of survey scores makes it easier to walk out with some AirPods.😉
We have had to make at least 10 customers come back to "redo" the order after payment taken, and order "successful." Come to find out the phone was never sold out of inventory. Verizon needs to forger 5g, customers DONT CARE, and reinvest in a brand new sale system.
There is more shrinkage during the cold months every year.
Oh, wait, you were talking about inventory.
Yes i believe it has to do with reps/managers walking away with accessories etc.
It’s 100% the POS even though we will never be able to prove it. As much as I want people to take free stuff when they leave. We have literally given away free phones because the system says the order is complete and payment successful. 2 days later we find out the order failed and now have to attempt to reach the customer in hopes they drive all the way back to repay. We have had to batch out multiple phones like this.
