Stop Blackrock H1B Abuse!!!
BlackRock has deliberately violated the intended purpose of the H1B visa by sponsoring many junior positions such as analysts and associates. These roles are typically suitable for qualified American young professionals, yet BlackRock prefers to hire foreign workers on H1B visas. The reason for this appears to be discriminatory practices, as managers—often of Chinese or Indian origin—favor hiring foreign candidates over qualified Americans. Additionally, their interview process is unfair to American applicants. H1B visas should not be permitted for junior-level roles at BlackRock, as this practice harms job opportunities for young Americans. The government must take action against a system that allows companies like BlackRock to exploit H1B visas, resulting in American workers losing jobs unfairly.

Anyone planning on leaving the industry want to file a title VIi case for racist & s-xist hiring and promotion policies?
A statistical overrepresentation of one hired or promoted group IS enough grounds to file a title VII case for discrimination and force HR groups into revealing internal communications and policies regarding hiring and promoting practices.
We all know this occurs industry wide, and across most industries… Might be worth filing these cases when we have a DOJ that is anti DEI?

People outside of tech just do not get it.
It's a tsunami of Indian workers now, more then 50% of the Americans are gone.
Since H-1B is 34 years old, many who got here that way are now doing the hiring in these companies and hire Indians.
What's saddest to me is you lunatics out there who think merely mentioning the world 'Indian' makes this racist. Uh, no.
They massively abuse the system and are way overrepresented in visas - when we supposedly have country limits. They have violated the intent of our immigration system so thoroughly.
Even if we don't cut the numbers, we have to send 75% of the Indians in tech home. Even the green card holders.
Otherwise you will have an Indian run and staffed IT sector. If you are okay with that, you're insane.
All men are created equal… but not sure it feels that way here.
Patterns look strange. It almost feels like the “biggest risks” for employees are:
• Being a woman
• Turning 40+
• Taking maternity leave
• Dealing with serious illness
If that’s what our “business-driven decisions” end up looking like…

My attorney said Schwab is not in a so great position. As only managers that didn’t have children in the home were assigned this workload. #discrimination
I love Schwab and feel ill because of this discrimination. While they may not notice it. It happened.
True - a lot of companies discriminate on age, I haven't noticed it at my store though...
I’m sure Walmart has their attorneys review their layoffs. But it still feels like older people are being disproportionately shoved out of the work place and out of the good paying jobs.
