DeSantis says...

"A lot of times people used to say, 'Well, you know, we're getting the cream of the crop from all around the world.' The reality is that's not actually what H-1Bs are. Most of them are from one country, India. There's a cottage industry about how all those people make money off this system," he continued.

The preference is pretty obvious for anyone who has eyes and can see. US-born comp-Sci majors are now having a harder time finding work than art majors in the USA.

keep stalking all the social media of your elected leaders boys and girls . Don't call out T directly. generally speaking use the term telecom and tech. The telecom and tech companies are using H1B's to push out older workers and then side stepping reporting requirements by using third party contracting companies.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has called the visa system a scam, accusing companies of gaming the process by laying off Americans while securing new visas. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services reported that the 2026 fiscal year cap has already been reached, with 65,000 standard visas and 20,000 additional slots for advanced degree holders. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is conducting continuous vetting of more than 55 million valid visa holders, with the State Department stating that visas can be revoked for overstays, criminal activity, threats to public safety, or ties to terrorism.

The Department of Justice is urging Americans to report discriminatory hiring practices that favor foreign workers on H-1B or seasonal visas. Citizens can submit tips about job ads that give preference to visa holders and also report possible human trafficking violations tied to temporary worker programs. Harmeet Dhillon, President Trump’s nominee for Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, highlighted the initiative on social media. The debate over H-1B visas remains heated: critics, including Sen. Bernie Sanders, argue the program undercuts U.S. workers by allowing companies to replace higher-paying American jobs with lower-wage foreign labor, while others contend that the visas support sectors like technology, health, and education by bringing in skilled workers.

They are looking for the hidden Prem jobs that get posted on backwoods newspapers. Lots of companies doing this. Just like the ghost jobs on LinkedIn then they hire a non-national for the job. Those kinds of things. Got any info, please notify them. We know it’s happening.

Rarely are companies going to advertise a preference. The preference is obvious in the actual hiring practices.
