Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Burnout

Are there any other PL that are leading 25 + ppl feeling burnt out. My department has mentioned victim mindset. Which I find extremely offensive. I am working every single day of the week, I have peers that have substitutes every time they miss a day. Yes I am a female and I feel overworked.

That’s way too many reviews to do effectively, someone should be helping you with those.

My attorney said Schwab is not in a so great position. As only managers that didn’t have children in the home were assigned this workload. #discrimination

I love Schwab and feel ill because of this discrimination. While they may not notice it. It happened.

To add to it, I wrote 25 reviews. Did any other PL write this many reviews? I am feeling like I was taken advantage of and I didn’t know how to speak up. On top of writing the reviews I have my same day to day.

Did I do this to myself? Does anyone else experience this?

I expressed this to my therapist and he said add up your hours I spent 80 last week. Is this normal? Because I need to be pursuing other companies.

You are not alone. Former PL who still talks to many. It's systemic.

Recommend an external group to safely talk about the emotional side. You need to be there for your team, but also for yourself.

That said, it isn't going to improve anytime soon. There's denial of major problems and a strong desire to make the issues worse. How you cope or respond to that is worth some soul searching and consideration.

Good luck.
