It’s my understanding that Cargill would need to provide a 60-day notice to the Minnesota Department of Employment, yet there is nothing reported. What am I missing here?
Anyone able to anonymously share new organizational structure?
Looking for any insight on how the company will look moving forward. Obviously we know the new enterprises, but curious to learn more beyond.
At this point let me go
This company is ran by imbeciles. It’s the good ole boys that make poor decisions.
It’s disgusting how this has been handled.
I’m sorry everyone is having to deal with this anxiety and stress for the past four months. Masterclass in incompetence. Critical financial operating benchmarks while producing a terrible working environment due to the fear of termination. The... — read more
Severance if Laid Off During ReOrg?
Can anyone shed some light on what the severance may look like if let go? I’d assuming it is service/experience based, but am curious to see if others are more knowledgeable. Sitting here pretty nervous.
Guess I better expedite my food truck plans
I guess today is the time to plan for future self employed endeavors and put Cargill on the wayside! A lot of intrinsic thoughts arise from times like these.
Business sales
I've heard that one way they are going to reduce headcount is that they are selling off businesses. Does anyone know if any if the sales will be announced around the same time as the reorg?
Still nothing?
Way to keep us in suspense. Why not escalate anxiety and stress when there’s an opportunity?
Cost Savings Plan?
Why did the company not attempt to save costs like a Hunker Down or a Fit to Grow this time around?
When will they announce any news?
Just can't wait anymore...
I hope everything will be done and over with fast
We really don’t need the added anxiety caused by prolonged anticipation and uncertainty. It’s bad as it is.

When the new structure will be announced?
I am hearing that we should expect news for december, is that acurate? Do you think they will announce the whole structure at once?
NDA signed by all of upper management
So they've had all of upper management and senior positions sign NDAs to mak sure nothing gets leaked on their re-org and the selling off of some of their smaller business units. They're "going back to their roots" to try and regain their market... — read more
When will they announce?
Any news on the next layers. Seems like they are running behind the Dec completion
Engagement survey
Quite interesting we are doing the engagement survey right in the middle of a re-org. I can guarantee all the pending layoffs are gonna be on hold until after the engagement surveys are complete.
Cargill 2030
What are people hearing for upcoming layoffs with the reorg? I'm hearing 4000 - 6000 jobs cut with most coming in the next 90 days.
Do we know if more is coming?
How worried should we be? I'm thinking that this could have been just the first round and we'll be looking at many more cuts before it's all over. Considering the current state of the company, that seems like the only logical conclusion. I hope I'm... — read more

Cargill Layoff Spin
Management will still spin it as "doing more work in fewer places." I'm sure that's part of it, but (IMHO) the biggest part is the bottom line. Making billions isn't enough, apparently. The ironic thing is our group HAD a shared service function... — read more
