Why did the company not attempt to save costs like a Hunker Down or a Fit to Grow this time around?

You’re spot on below! Many of the same people who sustained this mess are still in charge and will be post this event. We’ll probably also go back into massive hiring event come July-Sept.

This is a cost initiative but without a cute moniker. It’s substantially worse than ftg or hunker down because of the explosion of IOC concept under dmac (leading to role growth in enterprises, business and corp functions), becoming increasingly more matrixed and the ignorant lack of oversight on roles and responsibilities (by the same leaders who are now tasked to somehow get cargill out of this mess) since the last beef bo-m / covid anomaly.
