How worried should we be? I'm thinking that this could have been just the first round and we'll be looking at many more cuts before it's all over. Considering the current state of the company, that seems like the only logical conclusion. I hope I'm being paranoid, but I guess we'll see soon enough.

I face the same thing. Gaslighting and everything word to word as stated above..
This is how it will go… You will have great 1:1s and great comments…this is exactly what we need, etc… Then one day, literally one week after, yet another gleaming 1:1…the red dot will move to your forehead. Leadership will pick up something petty on you, gaslight and confuse you, then basically force you to leave over “differences”. They will make up negative feedback and seek no understanding… They will use achievements they asked you to do against you with zero remorse. You have been targeted and you are gone…
Count on it. Days of big cuts at once are over. These are sn---r layoffs.
