Anyone please summarise ITC layoffs?

Listening to Matt Cooke's call right now.

Approximately 150 termed at ITC. No surprises. Everyone was already aware.

The suspense is killing us! What's happening in ITC??

Among them are 35 Directors, 89 Managers , and 800 + Engineers.

Theres a lot of sckeptisism but this will be a massive layoff, so sit here and think your safe or wait for you severance and get a job lined up!

Monday in ITC should be non event. More than I can count have asked to be placed on term list, those such requests were all denied. So who is actually getting terminated? Very few. Less than 3%.

Any concrete news for the DocOps team?

We are a group of 10 at GIS. 6 in ITC, 4 in Islandia. 8 to be relieved. 2 in Islandia retained for transition.

Broadcom uses OKTA and CA will be migrating to OKTA as part of the IT transition. Good luck explaining that to customers.

Centralized group of 200 - 10 percent layoffs day 1 , 90 percent transition, 9 months that will probably be shorter. ITC folks to be notified on Monday. All VP’s and higher gone day 1.

I wish I was getting a severance but I don't think I am. I think I will get a "permanent" offer because I expect the product I work on will be divested eventually.

I heard that a watch tower has been recently constructed near CA ITC Campus Gate-3. Broadcom plans to keep a close watch on who's roaming around the landscaped campus too much. Pro Tip: Cover your face & badge while taking a walk.
