Remember when this got rolled out back in 2019? By 2025 the stock price was going to double, margins would be up, and BD would be a respected player in medtech. Instead we got layoffs, bad hires, and a culture down the toilet. Nice work Tom!

What is the purpose of all these “excellence” roles that are being handled out to the least excellent people? In fact it almost looks like the jobs intentionally are going to people who are not good at their jobs. What’s going on?

Leadership only answer to shareholders (plus their pay/bonuses tied to stock performance) so keep an eye out for how BDX stock does since we know their “go to” move to cut costs.

BD solution to almost everything nowadays are layoffs. Possible repeal of affordable care act, cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, FDA, CDC and NIH don’t look good for BD.
