I hear the term that there are lot of buyers interested. Let’s see where this ends up.
Why would they buy Edwards Life Sciences if they are looking to sell off the business?
was announced a while back, maybe around this time last year. never heard anything since
I don’t think Tom or anyone from his team would have written that, precisely because they are the part of “corrupt leadership”. I heard from a TGS colleague that there is kickbacks system that TGS leadership is engaged in. No wonder why they invest in so many projects which nobody uses.
did ChatGPT or Tom Polen himself write that last comment lmao
To ensure BD's long-term success, it's crucial to focus on improving operational efficiency, increasing profit margins, and driving sustainable growth. Without these improvements, the company may face ongoing challenges that could lead to further workforce reductions.
Any potential acquirer should be prepared to make difficult decisions, including reevaluating the current leadership structure. This process may unfortunately impact some valuable team members. However, by streamlining operations and optimizing the organizational structure, the company has the potential to thrive under new ownership.
Current estimate is, this company lose around 200-300 m every year due to corrupt leaders.
The goal should be to create a leaner, more agile organization that can better respond to market demands and capitalize on new opportunities. While change can be challenging, it's often necessary for long-term success and stability.

Danaher has been discussed around the Sparks office but no one has said why they think Danaher specifically other than that they have the means to do so
Where did the Danaher rumor come from?
merger with who? I heard Danaher but not J&J
Merger is most likely. Who is gonna shell out $20B to acquire?
Jnj is a potential buyer.
Oooh do share more? From BDB I have not heard many rumors on potential companies acquiring us. Danaher has been tossed around but don’t see how they could acquire us as this would create a monopoly for Clinical Flow Cytometry.
