You are all missing the point. Tom Polen has taken BD into a new direction where the high profits are no longer generated through the sales of products or services. Today, BD's profits come from tax evasion. This has been the new strategy since the company acquired the SwissCo model from Carefusion, the real reason BD acquired that failure of a Med Device company which had numerous recalls with the FDA. The Switzerland office is just a front for tax evasion. BD even overpayed for BARD, another failure, because they were sure they would make up the money through their tax evasion plan. So spining DS and Bio is okay since these businesses are not run through their Swiss model. Can't wait until the IRS catches up with all these executives.

You’re absolutely right it’s all about the bogus front office of Eysins where we have a bunch of high level directors and VPs doing absolutely nothing yet collecting hefty pay checks .. sitting on their thrones pretending we operate out of Switzerland when it’s all a fake presence to benefit from the tax havens. Before Swissco it was Ireland .. it’s not new just more of it .. carefusion with their consent decree and garbage pumps and bard with their hernia lawsuits .. good job Tom .. u infected this once moral and ethical company with your poison and lack of leadership skills. Not to forget the incompetents u hired to be your puppets .. including ur people office the bigot that she is.. u prob didn’t know that huh?
What would our customers think if they learned that aside from being a top exporter of US jobs to India, we are also top tax evaders? Damn!
