Going to the point of no return with the GCCs. These people literally do not know how to communicate. They talk to clients like how when you call your ISP customer service provider. Incompetence at its finest
Stock market
TU stock has done well YTD but given the global market, what does it mean for us at TU? Can this lead to more layoffs?
Next wave - throw us a bone
So far, the consensus for Chicago has been that the next wave will be in September. Some friendly people gave us a heads up for the last wave earlier this year, and although it wasn't precise, it was close enough to be helpful. I hope anyone on the... — read more
Survey Feedback
We had a survey feedback session where management pretended to give a fu-k about a sinking ship.
10-Percent Promotion... Offshore Only?
Our beloved voice of HR indicated that 10% of associates are achieving promotions, but didn't include the details that many of the promotions are for offshore staff. Your thoughts?
CFO selling TRU stock
Todd Cello sold $1,029,200 worth of TRU stock this month.
Those of us who survived the recent layoffs wake up.
Understand this company could care less about you or your family. You would be wise to be looking for work at more stable employee centric companies now. And for god sakes don't try to work hard and advance yourself here. Do just the bare minimum... — read more
TU's mantra to its employees is "Think like your a customer"
They need to change to: "Think like your an American employee"
Didn't Earn It
Now that Microsoft completely squashed their DEI program, I wonder how long TU will take, to follow suit. I got the under for about 9 months, hoping we get an email a lot sooner from Teedra how this workplace racism aka DEI will be terminated.
Price hasn’t changed for months
Suspicious
I’m doing just bare minimum
Since upper mgmt is on autopilot, I decided to be too. Who cares what will happen with this place? I don’t. I use all the time I can get to look for another job. In the meantime I’ll do everything in my power to extract maximum for myself with... — read more
Cwright laughs at the layoff messages
He finds it so amusing and gets all giddy because he knows his stocks will do well
Cannes! Rome!
The globetrotting just doesn’t quit! HR Susan and the international sales team just spent an amazing week in Rome discussing salesy stuff. The posts on social media are cringey. Since when did we have an intl sales team? Was it created after they... — read more
Cherry Hill Office Closing?
And what will happen to anyone that reports there?
How did Ravi Kumar get on the board of TransUnion and the US Chamber of Commerce?
His previous employers, Cognizant and Infosys, are notorious for offshoring US jobs to India. He should be on the Indian Chamber of Commerce, not the US Chamber of Commerce. He doesn't give a x-x about US workers.
Go on autopilot - don’t even care anymore
work hard enough to keep it all going. But could care less about client experience or even employee experience. TU has ruined it
TU Stock Down Big in AH Trading
Haven’t seen any direct company related news that would drive a 10+% dump. But Heather Russell did unload a million+ worth of shares recently. Looks like the “we’re done with layoffs for the foreseeable future” claim may be put to the test before too... — read more
The SVPs are all clueless
They’re all galavanting about - outside playing golf and out with their families during work hours. Meanwhile the rest of us bust our as--s and have to eat sh-t all day
Don't just complain here.
I know this forum is fun to read and fun to post to, but take more action. Otherwise the TU executives reading this page - and I promise they do - will continue to sweeten their morning coffee with your tears. You have to make it hurt... — read more
Enabling Failure
TransUnion reached its peak leadership under Pe-k. The current CEO, while portraying himself as a visionary leader, is merely the final phase of eating a curry dish. I attended a meeting recently and excessive spending was rampant. Remarkably... — read more

Transunion layoff waves (notice date, separation date)
It gets confusing after so many silent rounds of layoff since late 2023. Can we collect some stats? Please mention your notice date and separation date here. If you wish - add location, tenure and age. Let's keep this focused on the... — read more
Permanently remote
Anyone else who was a COVID hire and is permanently remote? There's an office only a mile away but I'm not required to go in. Does this mean I'm at risk since I'm a "remote" worker? It's complicated because I was hired for a position in Chicago... — read more

Female execs
And just like that, all GT female executives are gone, as they scramble to promote other females to offset the toxicity.
US Remote No - Foreign Remote OK
Same remote job that was once held by US worker is eliminated and now seen advertised as a remote opportunity in Costa Rica. Discriminatory. TU you reek.
GCC vent post
There's absolutely no where to vent hence I'm here. The code quality, ownership, etc is so poor wrt GCC engineers. Everyone's just into politics. You ask them to check something and get back to you, they don't check but just get back to you. It's... — read more
Everyone’s on autopilot here
Do you feel that too? It’s like the SVPs and EVPs are all coasting and everyone else is just moving along at a snails pace. No motivation because of the layoffs and lack of care for employees
Product management at risk?
Does anyone know if product managers were laid off in earlier rounds? Also noticed they are hiring for product roles in Costa Rica. Would that be a hint of product being targeted in next layoff round?
Has anyone talked to Equifax or Experian?
Are they mostly US workers in tech. Would they be interested in knowing about the sh_t show at TU.

TransUnion is the BOEING of credit reporting companies....
TransUnion used to be a solid American company, but like Boeing has been reduced to a train wreck...
Wow
lol they really shot themselves in the foot with the layoffs and now realizing a ton of real talent is gone
TU in its current glory is what happens when you have Bean Counters running the show.
Somehow I don't think we would have seen a company like OpenAI emerge under the current management at TU.
