There’s been a rumor about the reduction of data science jobs this fall. Any news on that?

Venkat ruined that company and I’m sure he will leave and that place is sc--wed. Especially all the IT professionals who built that network are gone. Dont worry you can hire me back at a much higher cost since you lowballed me for 9 years and laid me off. I’m making 25% more doing less and 15% bonus. Thanks for the severance cobra and 10 extra weeks of pay.. I opened IRA and collecting 19% so far.
Can’t believe yall still working for that toxic work environment but I’ve worked with most of you and 70% employees have no degree.

They just moved the entire Marketing Data Science team to Venkat's org.
What they cut was from Ops not from DS
What would be the products/roles that are considered data science ?
More on the marketing side or financial side (credit data )?
Happened for the most part - in marketing sol. They moved a bunch of jobs under Venkat and then cut like 5 key roles
