Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

Next wave - throw us a bone

So far, the consensus for Chicago has been that the next wave will be in September. Some friendly people gave us a heads up for the last wave earlier this year, and although it wasn't precise, it was close enough to be helpful. I hope anyone on the fence about whether to let some cats out of bags feels generous sometime soon. If not, then I guess we can assume that NO ONE included in these decisions cares about "the rest of us", or they're too terrified of being identified and severely punished for some reason. Thanks in advance.

To the person saying that there's no planned layoffs: it took less than a week into September for it to begin

There are no planned layoffs currently.

There will be employees leaving the company later this year who were impacted in March/April.

Things can change, they always do, but OneTru is probably the point where more layoffs would be part of the plan if it requires training.

Did y'll really hear any rumors from top level about layoffs whether it is Sept or year end?

Some US employees out of Chicago were told on March 20, 2024 20, 2024 their last day of work or separation date is sometime this November. Any September announcement would be net new.

Not Chicago specific. It’ll be Chicago +. Those in the know happen to be in Chicago.
