Do you think there may be small/medium/large Gap layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Heard some people here might’ve been let go a couple days ago, it’s hard not to worry. Feels like the writing’s on the wall. People are spending less, things are slowing down. I just hope this isn’t the start of something bigger.

They just sent out the org chart and after the layout there are so many open roles. Not to mention merchant promotions. It’s disgusting, they should have tried to move people into open roles, rather than just let them go.

What positions were laid off????

When I saw which people were cut I was really disappointed. A colleague who was a role model employee lost his job……What kind of message does that send to us who are still here? Obviously, hard work isn't the key to success here.

Anyone willing to share what areas and how many people (approximately) lost their jobs? Managers aren't telling us much.

The way this is being done is inhumane. Shame on everybody involved!

What's going on? Has everybody been notified already? Or will it continue tomorrow?
