Yes Gap moved jobs to a third party in India. Mostly call center and HR. I do believe Gap is transferring all customer service to India in 2024. Much of this was done in 2023 including HR

Didn't GapTech (at least in India) get eliminated and replaced by 3rd party contractors?

Is GapTech still a thing? I thought it died when the thought of reselling Gap technologies to other retailers became a joke.

Actually the California reports say 785 people were impacted.

That explains approx 700 people. What about the other 1100? Some field employees, GapTech (not sure what locations). Someone in India said jobs were transferred to a 3rd party contractor. How about finance and HR? Would love to see the final numbers.
