More cuts today

It never ends. More folks let go from design and engineering teams today. We are being told that it was part of the “original 3,000” and no more cuts are planned at this point. I don’t believe that for a second. This place is an absolute dumpster... — read more

No need to worry

Why would anybody be worried about being laid off from CVS? Think about it, how much worse can it get? If you're being honest, the answer is no, it can't get worse. Being laid off can only improve our situation. I've been much happier since I... — read more

Investors are turned off

Read Barrons. It intimates that no one wanted the CEO job. You can’t use layoffs as a profit center. CVS/Aetna is now universally seen as a sinking ship. Great job.

CVS never keeps up with the times

It’s been falling behind all the competitors. What’s worse, there doesn’t seem to be any willingness to adapt to current demand and habits or to, god forbid, come up with innovative solutions. Whenever the need arises to demonstrate profit or... — read more

Can we be done with layoffs for a while?

How are we supposed to stay motivated when they keep happening every other week? This is inhumane. There’s no stability, no security. We're basically just waiting for our turn to be next. It’s impossible to feel anything other than frustration when... — read more

Veterans day no longer a Corporate Employee Holiday

Looking at last year's holiday schedule for corporate employees, veterans day was a paid day off. Is this no longer the case this year? Didn't get anything from my manager and seems like meetings are as planned on Monday. Did CVS remove the day for... — read more

My team was gutted

And nobody seems to care. If they think we can take on the workload and are willing to, they are wrong.

Leadership without direction

It’s hard to understand how the ELT still holds their positions, given the colossal failure they've proven to be. If I performed this poorly, I’d be out the door in no time. But not them. They keep collecting hefty salaries and bonuses, completely... — read more

Some of the leaders define CVS as a startup

Is CVS a startup? Even if it remotely was one, why is the pay half of what a startup pays? Some of the laid off folks are joining actually startups and will increase their TC by 50%+. CVS might be a startup in the sense that the business is shaky and... — read more

Purposely mum on bonus

I think they've not said a word about bonus because they don't want an exodus. The communication has been abysmal for the last 3 years and I'll bet they'll wait to the absolute last minute to say no bonus for the year.
