Thank You to All Colleagues. Those laid off are extremely talented but unappreciated. Please understand that the problems began with the merger. Monopoly status and extreme power corrupt the small minded. First, they distributed opi--ds and addicted their own customers. Then they intimidated the principled workers who said no. Then they created diversions like the red outfits and the slogans. When things fell apart, they bought fast growing small businesses and destroyed them. Finally, they came for those loyal to the enterprise. An organization that lives to cannibalize its own is doomed. Know that in the next year you will find something better. CVS will sink because of the long saga of bad decisions in a rapidly changing business environment. The business is the colleagues and nothing else. You are the Very Best!

Look, CVS does su-k, but it’s very naive to blame every CVS failure on US capitalism.
To whomever wrote that, Thank You. You can dislike a company and it's culture. You can dislike some of your colleagues. Some of us really do miss some people we worked with and the connections we made and hope to see them soon.
