This management knows full well what they're doing

They are not incompetent as some might think. The thing here is that they don't care about Citrix and where it'll be in five to ten years. All they care about is how to make themselves as rich as possible as quickly as possible. That's what they've... — read more

12 weeks until the big day. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that it won’t be a massive cut. All levels. You, your boss, and your boss’s boss. Be nice to your co-workers, because you’ll need each other in the aftermath. May the force be with you. — read more

Manager influence

I understand those who want to be cut, but I would prefer to leave voluntarily at the moment that is best for me. I wonder how much real influence managers have on the decision whether someone will be cut or not?

TIBCO Update

We got a message from Dan Streetman, the TIBCO CEO, yesterday saying that he is leaving the company this week and he will join another Vista company. It is also mentioned that the transaction is expected to close by end of next month.

My worst working experience

Have any of you worked for a company that was worse than Citrix in any way? I haven't. Every aspect of working here is by far the worst I've experienced in my 17-year-long career. From politics to a highly toxic work environment to management that... — read more

best strategy to get laid off

I want to get laid off, do y'all think that telling my manager that I am going to leave anyway if I am not cut in the next round will help? My thought is that my boss might prefer to help get me cut than be forced to cut someone else who might... — read more

Can't wait for the cuts to start

I'm waiting for severance and that's it. The work I'm doing reflects that. I used to give it my all but after being ignored for a proper raise or a promotion for years, I decided to give back exactly as much as I'm given. Which is my bare minimum... — read more

It doesn't stop "XenServer on Azure"

Why?? This company keeps on trying to revive corpses to make VDI or (VDI in the Cloud) DaaS relevant again. Please stop its embarrassing.

Citrix ELT and Sales still think fairytales exists

It's funny and sad to see at the same time that Shitrix management and sales still think this dead horse can be sold and revived. They are massively dropping marketing bu-----t on social media and doing more usergroup events then ever. Hopefully... — read more

So disappointed

Most of all, I am disappointed in what this company has turned into, because I think that everything could have been much different if only the leadership had made better decisions. When I started working here, Citrix had huge potential. Where do... — read more

Slightly more revenue, 10% less operating expense in the 10Q

Indicators of things to come in today's 10-Q: Revenue up slightly from subscriptions. R&D down ~10% from a year ago Sales and marketing down ~10% from a year ago These helped boost the eps. So imagine what more will be done to both areas. Likely... — read more

Open Letter to Our New CEO

Dear T.K. In your letter to employees, you addressed that we will be open and accountable and data driven. I sincerely agree with openness and accountability. I loath data-driven. Let me explain. It is not due to dislike of data nor is it due to... — read more

Our management is obsessed with layoffs

All we hear about are layoffs. All we have are layoffs. No company should have cuts so often. I know layoffs are a must in some cases, but not all the time. What would happen if the people in charge would focus on something else for a change? Like... — read more

A key reason to leave?

Fortunately, Citrix is not the only show in town. Among the many reasons to leave a company, what do you think is the biggest reason why more and more people are leaving this place?

Advice for newcomers

We're still hiring and I see so many of the new additions excited and eager to help and burying themselves into a ho-e they'll never manage to dig themselves out of. Take it from somebody who's been here a while. Citrix is not the type of company to... — read more

Are customers still buying that Citrix legacy sh-t?

There is no product manager, developer or support engineer left. Don't understand why customers would risk their business continuity with that legacy technology. Get a Shitrix exit plan as soon as possible and execute directly.

Vision for the company

Does our leadership even have one, or do they only think of short-term goals (and of course, their personal interests)?

The sale delayed until September.

Citrix Systems (NASDAQ:CTXS), which agreed in January to a $16.5 billion sale to Vista Equity and Elliott Management, ticked down 0.6% after a report that a $15 billion debt sale for the acquisition has been delayed until after the U.S. Labor Day... — read more

Huge Layoffs in the making !

Yes, I worry about being laid off

I worry because a lot of companies assume that those who were laid off are not among the strongest performers. It's not fair and in so many cases it's certainly not true but the stigma is there. Being laid off can cost me future employment or I can... — read more
