We got a message from Dan Streetman, the TIBCO CEO, yesterday saying that he is leaving the company this week and he will join another Vista company.
It is also mentioned that the transaction is expected to close by end of next month.

Not a surprise but leaving now means that Vista is 100% sure (or almost) that’s the deal will be completed
After they announced they were bringing in Tom to lead the merged company, it's not a surprise that Dan will leave.
