There is a new CEO , and who would want to miss the opportunity to impress by painting happy picture.
There is a reason why you see so many LinkedIn posts. There is an agreement among Raleigh leaders to get active on LinkedIn, and showing off how great these exercises were and how happy and ‘engaged’ all employees are.
If truly morale and engagement can improve with such d-mb actions. These are all theatrics.
To anyone that doesn't know this is really specific to the Raleigh office I guess I heard they had some kind of team building exercise to replace their planning week

My observation: current ELT desperation seems to have reached a new milestone in their ongoing journey to Clueless Nirvana. That said, the bar of expectation for a "new focus" should be significantly raised once we have substantive new leadership in place
It was definitely a little awkward and I'm not sure I took anything away from it but I think it's reasonable to assume good intent right??

What was d-mb about it? We’re not solving the same problems and have lower stakes but the lessons are applicable for collaborating with large groups.
Even the hyper-cynical should see that the intentions from leadership are good and that the new focus is far better than what we’ve suffered through in the past.
