it seems like the general consensus is that the teammates let go were great but expensive contributors.

According to multiple sources here in NC, there could be a major reorganization involving GCL, SL, and Architect roles across all the BUs (Starting with wealth and brokerage) . GCLs are largely viewed as paper pushers with no real value, and many G-8 SLs could be pushed down to G7. Architects are seen as another set of dinosaurs from a bygone era , they may soon become extinct as well.SLs in the platfrom squads will be axed or pushed to G7-6 individual contributors
Is your bonus amount viewed under SSIP contribution Bonus?
Hi there, I was following the email that said you can make changes to your bonus contribution as to where it will land cash or 401k and when I went to the site I could see a $$$ amount that I could select for cash or 401k, does that mean that is my bonus amount? It seems really low even though I exceeded last year so I am not sure if that is the correct amount or if I’m misunderstanding
A Tough Day
I would like to say this is it but I am afraid today was the first of a rough year. Great employees were told today they are no longer needed while others who don’t appear to contribute anything were spared. When the great employees are gone and their mediocre peers remain I see a bleak future for the rest of us.

I have been in IT&V for 4 years. Absolute craziness.
Meaningless work. No oversight. Individual contributors at Director pay and Sr. Mgr pay all over making big money sitting around half the time doing nothing or stealing other people’s work.
We are focusing on efficiency but everything we are doing to be more efficient is making us less efficient. Layer over layer over layer of non sense on top of horrible systems and process built by inexperienced people.
No one seems to care. People stay quiet so they don’t get a target on their back.
I’m just here for the check and checked out.
