Big G is slowing hiring. Now got a bit harder to get another job.

Some are quite convinced that their positions are stable, but I think it's wiser to polish your resumes. High time to do it.

Layoffs are certain. The only big wildcard is when. My hunch? If nothing happens in the next few weeks, it won't happen until early 2023. Zuck and co are incompetent, but I doubt they would be mean enough to axe people over the holiday season.

Makes sense though since Facebook/Meta isn’t even on the main page list even though it’s a social media mainstay.

Smart people stayed here only for as long as it was enough for them to upgrade their skillset and find a better job. Why don't those who don't like their jobs just leave instead of wasting their time here?
