Its not about money. What those companies do is push the employee to burn out. Said h1b wont quit because in a quick 60 days they fall out of status and have to go back to the countries they wanted to leave. They may also lose their spot for priority date (GC filing). A USC or GC do not tolerate such demands. Its not money, its the carrot/gc dangling
Companies like NVDA, AMD, MSFT,... all have huge operations in India and China. No need to bring them here on H1B. This is the most cost-effective way.
H1B law requires companies to show they are paying similar salaries as given to USC or GC for the same title. Otherwise, it is illegal.
If the deadbeat USC or GC is at a much higher pay grade but is not capable of doing the work of H1B's, then those underperformers should be let go.
My point here is in the grand scheme of things, Fecesbook (Jobs own words) is not doing rocket science in that you need H1B's.
There is no reason USC or GC can’t do jobs what H1B’s do
WTF are you talking about?! H1Bs can do the same job for WAY cheaper so why not use them?? This has nothing to do with USCs or GC. This is about increasing value for the shareholders.
Go take a business class. Go learn something.

There is no reason USC or GC can’t do jobs what H1B’s do, for the type of work Facebook does, if any? I see a class action law suit.
What do you expect? H1B's work for pennies on the dollar compared to Americans. They are modern day indentured servants.
Excellent. This will be great for shareholder value!

Yes I'm also part of the review and I can say the first list was 100% GC holder or USC. Not sure about the age. OPT and H1B are safe in USA
its in legal for review. in USA 81% on the list are US citizens over the age of 47. No way this can be implemented.
Where or how did you see said list?
