When will the axe fall ?
Any ideas as to when ? Will it all be done at once or will it run till the end of Q1 ? I think they should just pull the band-aid and be done with it.
How are layoffs done at Devon?
Do they call you to your manager's office and tell you? Is HR present? What's the story they give you? Do you have to leave immediately? Anybody has an idea about how they execute layoffs?
How are they deciding?
Who is deciding who is getting laid off and how? What are they basing their decisions on? Does HR have 100% control over this or are they considering input from managers/VPs?
