I am so sick of working for this company it makes me sick each and every day. I have to admit I don't work hard and want everything handed to me. If you piss me off I will just scream discrimination and see how you handle that. I don't care if our royalties are submitted timely because I don't get a piece of this pie. I do love the view and the perks. However there are plenty other companies in OKC that want my skills. I will miss all of the gossip and hanging with the fatties at lunch. So long folks - the pale one.

What a joke, these comments are not Devon Employees. They would never be hired by such a great company and organization. Don't listen to the crap, we at Devon love our jobs and respect the company that has been so good to us. Regardless if we stay or go. If I go I will walk out the door and be proud to have worked here. If I stay I will continue to hold my head high and say " Great, I still work for one of top oil and gas producers in North America!

You cannot volunteer for layoffs
Then volunteer yourself and save a job for someone else. Someone that might have a family they need to support. You should work hard, whether you hate your job or not because you signed up to do a job at a price. If you wanted a piece of the pie then you should have gone somewhere else to begin with. Geez, your posts make me angry and I do not even work at Devon. What a bunch of entitled jerks. These comments are why employees at other companies hate people who work at Devon.
