Rescheduling Helping with Heart Workshops
Did everyone receive the email that they’re rescheduling the Helping with Heart workshops? Not many details but I think we all know why. Just curious if everyone received that email, or if we can deduce that it’s just the individuals who are getting... — read more

Layoff Communication
At this point has anyone received direct communication that they have been laid off?
Enough
I know everyone is either curious and or upset about these layoffs. Spreading rumors or making assumptions is making it worse for yourself and everybody else. Why don't we just stick to stating confirmed layoffs and everything else as we know is out... — read more
This is round 1 of up to 3
Most people I've heard from have said this is round 1 of up to 3. They really can't say numbers for the remaining layoffs because this first round of laying off 5k will likely mean natural attrition which is exactly what Senior Leadership wants. The... — read more
Any news on Coram and Omnicare cuts?
I do recall previous cuts to both already earlier this year. Omnicare also hasn't been able to find a buyer https://accessmarketintell.com/2022/11/03/cvs-health-actively-seeking-buyer-for-omnicare/
Has it started already ?
A Ld Director, Data Science just sent out an email that it her last day at CVS . Not sure if she is the part of the layoffs or an usual switch.
Unionize Now!
I've been saying this for years but CVS needs to unionize. Some stores already unionized and I actually called and spoke with a unionized SM and they had more hours for lower sales budgets and several more benefits. One that I liked the best was that... — read more

I wonder if it’s their goal to end remote for everyone like before Covid. If that’s the case then I’m out. I don’t live near an office
Does this layoff include contractors?
So I was manually counting around in Teams Org chart and found out we have 200 contractors in A&bc itself. My personal team has 10 contractors and my boss told me we need to get rid of them by January and they cost us 2.5 million a year. I hope the... — read more

As the title says. CVS has 300k employees but the vast majority are immune to these layoffs. How many are getting targeted?
PBM Data Science and Analytics Thread
Did anyone on the PBM Data Science/ Analytics side hear anything ? Preferably from an Executive Director or higher? Leaders just say we have a high impact so hopefully we should be fine but nobody knows anything for sure.
If we're going to lay people off, how about starting with Regional Directors and Division Vice Presidents
They talk about laying off redundant and unnecessary positions, RD's and DVP's seem like a good place to cut.
New hires at greater risk?
I started just over 3 months ago. Are new hires more at risk? Is there a salary threshold for their decision making? Ie if you are under $X salary they don’t bother, for example.
We suffer the consequences of their terrible moves
The fact is, we are the ones who will suffer because of our leadership's mistakes, while they will pass mostly unscathed. If things continue like this, the future doesn’t look bright for this company.
Severance

We have all been Karen'd

We heard from our leader that other leaders they knew were invited to a training next on week on how to deal with the changes to thier affected teams. We do not know if it is in waves or what and they will do these each week.
