I got a 6k increase at the new job when I "left".
Why are you not sending your resumes out to employers who want employees?
Some posted in a previous post that layoffs happen around pay day. Next Tuesday might be the day they start. Godspeed to us all.
Anyone else scared, but also maybe secretly hoping they are on the list? I don’t really want the stress involved with finding something else but I am also pretty certain I just want no part of this nonsense anymore.
It's not a bloodbath. They have 3,000 employees left to go. And yes though that does seem like a lot in a matter of 2 days there are over 300,000 employees all together. As previously stated get your resumes together. There are other options rather than CVS, they are not the only employer to work for and you should be able to control your own destiny by finding a new job
It's only going to be a bloodbath if you let it . go on offense, Get those resumes out circulating. Connect with a long lost professional contact. Stop your 401K temporarily, Stash that cash in a savings account for now. Take control of this. Stop allowing them to manipulate you like a puppet on a string. No one deserves this sort of treatment. ever,
A VP just confirmed that the 5000 does not include contractors. An undisclosed number of contractors will be let go in addition to colleagues. They were unable to share anything more. It's going to be a bloodbath!

Layoffs are next Monday and Tuesday
Dead silence. I’m on the phones so I doubt I’ll get laid off
Notifications (most of them) will be sent on Monday and Tuesday of next week. This is confirmed via higher leadership and HR - - as our leadership has actually met with us. you may see one or two this week. Get your resume's ready and start looking now... end of the year is a horrible time of year to find a job....
From a simple google search, it looks like Tuesday and Wednesday are ideal for layoffs. So I guess either today, tomorrow or next week Tuesday or Wednesday?
