Layoffs from month to month. This is insane. I constantly hear about new people getting laid off. How lucky is it to be a survivor here? Almost not at all. How do they expect people to be productive working under such pressure? I don't know, all... — read more
Why don't they promote within?
Instead of hiring H1B college students, offer internal training? The students just leave for other companies anyway, right?
Is it true ?
Commscope laid off the entire CBRS team in Sunnyvale?
Ruckus CBRS
is going nowhere fast?
Commscope needs to appreciate its employees more
Have you ever worked at a company that appreciates its employees less the longer they are there? I haven't. Instead of trying as hard as they can to keep employees with the most experience and knowledge happy, they are trying their best to get rid of... — read more
Did Commscope buy Ruckus to get into the CBRS market?
After careful analysis, I think they did not care for Arris, it was just necessary to get Ruckus, who was working on CBRS. I don't know. It seems like an awful lot of money to spend just to get into that market. Charter bought up the... — read more
What's the exit process like?
If you quit, what was your exit experience? Is the two weeks notice expected? Also, if you give your two weeks notice what are the chances you'll be told not to bother returning for those two weeks? I've had a few offers where I was supposed to start... — read more
Options
You see all the granted options. Mingle with 65,000 shares. How in the he-l is she worth that much. Or any one else on this half a$$ mgmt team. Since they don’t vest for 3 years, guess the place is stuck with them. Lol. Good luck to all.
Earnings Call
In case you missed it, CommScope announced on yesterday’s earnings call that there will be another $250m saved in headcount reduction which is 1,500-,2,000 employees. These reductions are for what they are calling Core CommScope (nonHN BUs). So this... — read more
Since there cutting expenses
Im curious why they still have a 2 corporate aircraft and a team of pilots. Most companies have eliminated the expense. Much cheaper to just fly commercial but they think they are to good for commercial I guess.
Outsourcing jobs is costing us more than we realize?
What is the true cost of outsourcing? Jobs? Layoffs? True. But do foreign governments go and demand our companies information and intelluctual property, when a remote office operation is in a foreign country? Who is to prevent it? The... — read more
Victims of their greed
It frustrates me when I know that a large number of jobs could be saved just if it wasn't for their greed. Basically, if I get laid off, (and I’m prepared like I will), I’ll definitely blame their greed and not think that I got cut because I didn’t... — read more
May the forth be with you

This is not the same Commscope
This is definitely not the same company I joined ten years ago. I've never been more unsatisfied with my job than I am right now. Layoffs have sucked out all the fun from work - everybody is worried and stressing all the time. It doesn't help that... — read more
More layoffs coming

How do you deal with uncertainty?
I’m looking for a new job and hope to find it before I get laid off. The stress is huge. Lately, I absolutely can’t dedicate myself to work and concentrate because I’m demoralized, demotivated and very anxious. How do you deal with this unbearable... — read more

I think announcements like this are going to become our new normal. CommScope (Nasdaq: COMM) plans to permanently close a Greensboro facility before March 1, 2022, and will lay off employees beginning in... — read more
What's going on with Finance?
Doesn't sound good.
The reason they bought Ruckus
Executives admit they like the Ruckus name. Saying it had more brand recognition than the Commscope brand. Imagine that, they essentially bought an underwater company for ONLY it's brand recognition. Yes it is true, Commscope SHOULD change... — read more
Management just keeps getting better
At over spending on other companies with little or no valuation. Lost customers, poor quality offshore'd and layoff and no bonuses. Lack of direction and transparency.
Outlook: Layoffs every quarter

India
Last year I understand they closed most of the Mexico plants for cleaning after covid infections appeared. With the virus spiking in India, I wonder how the mfg, the DC and all the sales and engineering locations. CS has relocated a lot of jobs... — read more
Commscope should have saved millions
Instead of buying Arris just to acquire Ruckus, they could have paid Broadcom or Qualcomm to help them develop their own WiFi access point. It would have saved Commscope millions. The Ruckus Cloud is just the Ruckus SmartZone software running... — read more

Lie & Deny
This blog is pathetic. Yes, there’s legit people worried about their jobs but most are a group of rumour wielding bullies who aren’t truthful. ARRIS’ ongoing failures are the noose around CommScope’s neck. Yes, CS should NOT have acquired ARRIS, but... — read more
Fiber cable and hardware?
How's this business doing? Are those groups stable, people-wise? Corning is raking in money, so I'd assume this part of Commscope is doing OK, but it sounds like things are getting wobbly in Hickory. We buy a lot of fiber stuff.
We won't be getting a bonus for years
But CLevel management will.
Another One Bites The Dust
Anyone surprised?
How are we changing the world?
By laying off people ever quarter?
Does Commscope compete against finnish Nokia & swedish Erickson?
If so, today's 5G Nokia news will not be good for Commscope.
Ruckus just released new wireless
Meraki and HP already beat them to market. Another failed project. More layoffs coming.
It's not over till the fat lady sings
I'm curious. Anyone else NOT get a good vibe after the Quarterly Meetings? I feel like we are still in a downhill slide? Is that assumption the general concensus?
I really wish some other company had bought us

So our bonus and raise gets moved out another half of the year
You will have to forgive me since I'm a newer employee. What does that mean when they defer? Will we get a raise/bonus? Or could they rethink it in July and stuff us again?
Few buildings in CA to close by the end of this year
