GE selling more BKR

Does GE believe BKR stock tops at $25???? April was gruesome for BKR. GE negotiated for $1B BKR stock sell off. GE still owns 25%. Looks like BKR is lining up for day trader dream stock. I expect ebbs and flows for the rest of 2021. BKR leadership... — read more

Promotions & Bonuses

Just to settle the one uppers. No bonuses. Promotions are merely title changes. Folks are moving around to keep a job. Anything outside of this is just nonsense and should not be taken seriously. The business will continue to shrink... — read more

Q1 results

I’m surprised someone hasn’t already commented on the quarterly results. I'm not at all optimistic about what will happen next, but I don't worry so much anymore if I get laid off because I'll finally get some relief. I'll just drop this here:... — read more

Bubbles

Unbelievable layoffs happen throughout baker hughes and still some bubbles are still doing overtime

One problem rooted from GE leadership culture

The GE leadership culture did not respect the uniqueness of mid-level engineer managers, who have expertise in one or a few special areas. After loss of so many domain experts, BKR's (sudden) fall in the future won't be surpprised. Here’s... — read more

Real vacation is only when you get out of here

The only real vacation would be to get out of here. It has become very exhausting to work here. When I took a vacation, it wasn’t really a vacation at all because I had a bunch of work to finish before I left, and all the time I was thinking... — read more

It’s just one big mess

There was a time that a degree and experience, people skills, and character meant something. The proof of just how bad things are in the open job requisitions. When in the history of BHI did you ever recall reading a job requirement calling for an... — read more

Middle managers are strangling the company

They're trying to keep control over their shrinking piece of turf while their employees shake their heads and run for the exits. HR needs to track turnover for managers. It might help them pull out the bad weeds.

Celle Layoffs

To be finalized on 03/22. 125 left voluntarily. 100 to be let go forcefully.
