@b3 Andrew Eggnog isn't a bouncer he's a weak leader who looks to cuts to prop up the bottom line. There's no magic in that. Time for him to be replaced.

@OP Andrew Eggnog is on record saying sales people make too much money. That's rich given his package. Starboard should replace him sooner rather than later. The non-stop price increases on the install base aren't sustainable.

Autodesk Reduces Workforce by 1,000 in Global Restructuring

Autodesk announced it will lay off 1,000 employees worldwide. This represents about 7% of its total workforce. The company is completing a multiyear sales organization restructuring. Roughly 10% of these job cuts will impact San Francisco workers. Autodesk anticipates $160 million in costs, mainly for severance payments.
