what a useless thing again

The morning ODW went live, workday was still functional for a few hours... Logged into that and it said that site visit dashboards were being retired.

On the official RTO policy page, it states...

"bla bla bla fluff... While attendance will not be actively shared at individual or leader level, this expectation is non-negotiable." - Ok but what exactly does "leader" mean? Direct manager/director? Or execs?

WTF does that even mean? Why can't we see our own site visits? What harm has that done? Leader as in our direct manager, or is it execs as well?

I already keep an excel spreadsheet tracking my own site visits + PTO days because I don't trust the badge readers but why tf would they take those dashboards away anyways?

Maybe it's so managers can't see and warn those who aren't going in often enough? idfk bro..

I genuinely don't think Dell will EVER straight up say "site visits are no longer being tracked" because 99% of people would quit showing up lol. So I can't help but wonder if the wording is purposely confusing to make people think it's being tracked still?

Wisconsin Watch developed a new dashboard. It tracks layoffs across the state of Wisconsin. The tool uses Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notices. Employers file these notices with the state. The dashboard provides data on company name, location, and workers impacted.

Just informed on an East market call that engineers will now be graded based on the time it takes to get tasks completed in Canvas…. Most of the delays are out of our hands with the tool not working 1/2 the time or vendors not getting their related tasks completed…. The people making these decisions have NO concept of what it takes to keep a network running and just want to stare at dashboards… I’m assuming this will now be used against us for reviews and future RIFs

Why in this day and age are we still pushing direct tv stream so hard. Especially in certain markets. Make it make sense to push such a dying technology when it only is worth 5% on the dashboard!

Are you able to see your PTO on Absence Dashboard ? Looks like they cut the access and no longer see the PTO balance. Wanted to get a proof before Dec 19th
