December Cuts are Here!
Attended a Town Hall yesterday where the speaker said the cuts were over and any more layoffs would be for people that were under utilized. That was a big lie. Many groups are operating bare bones. Just tell us the truth! Is this ever going to end?
Good luck tomorrow
There will be impacts
Mass layoffs & building consolidations before the end of the year?
Looks like a set up for a FIRE SALE! Small offices closing, branches disappearing, and jobs outsourced. The bank is cutting costs at the cost of the employee and the customer. Moral is at an all time low. This company used to try to retain the best... — read more

Just saw this https://www.thelayoff.com/bank-of-america/active
Bank of America has probably blocked replies from showing.
Seems like they would do something like that, so I suppose we will have to reply as a new comment each time. Who knows????? OR maybe the site Layoff.com did it.
Why?
Why are we no longer able to see the number of replies for each post?
wow, a Wednesday with no one being canned!
Oh my bad, it is veterans's day and we're closed so they can't walk us out this week. They will wait till Thanksgiving or Christmas. Thanks to all that served.
I have been in banking 37 years but now its out of control and good customers are getting the shaft.
As an veteran seasoned Underwriter for over 20 yrs , I can no longer make a qualified decision nor be subjective or make a reasonable decision on a long term, solid customer on my own. I now have to present the most ridiculous issues for "waiver" ... — read more

How many people laid off in California?
So I'm curious if anyone knows how many workers were laid off in California and why they didn't give a 60 day notice. I believe the law says if more than 50 people are laid off a 60 day warn is required.

BAC India Layoffs
Bank of America did reduce its workers in Tech in India too, so redundancies are not limited to the US. Tech teams have been asked to automate their work so its like chopping the same branch they are sitting on because after automation is completed... — read more
I was laid off like many others last week, but relieved. The company culture over the last few years has become toxic.
I grew up at Bank of America - working there from my early 20s to early 40s. I drank the kool-aid, learned, promoted, and sacrificed my personal life for many years constantly delivering many millions in productivity savings. I watched the company... — read more
It is their loss, and not mine.

Maybe more cuts
We have the meeting and employees walk away discouraged. Maybe more cuts. Incestuous management in over their heads. One promoted for technical ability now wants more and more and more data to make more bad decisions. One self loving brown noser who... — read more
Layoffs in Mortgage Tech and BAC is a sucky place to work
