They lie to us because for them we are just a number. If they say there will be no more layoffs, they cannot be trusted. But what's the purpose of lying? It just demotivates employees even more.

Are people looking to file any complaints for Appian's shady practices in any way or form?

Trying to understand demographics. There has to be a pattern. I think they tried to lay off people who were already disadvantaged one way or another.

Nothing new to add here - there are no layoff updates with Appian - still growing. We'll see what happens in 2018.
