Thread regarding Appian layoffs

No need to stay at Appian

I've wasted six years of my life there working for a boss who had no management skills and in a completely dysfunctional team dynamics. I was exhausted both mentally and physically all the time. I left at the start of the year and I never regretted it. I now have a good manager who makes my job easier instead of harder, the team culture is so much healthier, and I don't have to deal with the toxic environment. There are much, much better jobs available. You truly don't have to stay if you're unhappy.

I had a similar experience... the culture can be very toxic in certain departments.

This is completely accurate. This is synonymous with virtually every department of the organization...especially the sales organization. The AVP and SVP in public sector sales are probably the most incompetent leaders I've ever encountered in my 20 years in sales. Toxic and no clue.
