Appian (Nasdaq: APPN) today announced the appointment of Mark Dorsey as Chief Revenue Officer. Dorsey will lead the company’s global sales operation to accelerate growth, including through direct sales and partnerships. He will report to Appian’s CEO, Matt Calkins. Proven executive brings over 25 years of strategic sales leadership experience to process automation industry leader.
If he was that bright he would have done his due diligence and ran - ran away from Appian and working for Matt unless he is just looking for another 1-year stint on his resume. If you look back CRO's last about a year then move on when they realize the problem is Matt. I know Matt reads these posts and is likely entertained by his estimated $4B in worth. The question is who is he valuable to? His wife divorced him, his kids likely want nothing to do with him and many employees when Trump gets elected and the economy improved will leave. What then Matty? Time for a fire sale to Pega. I am sure Alan will take your little group off your hands so you can go back to designing a new game called "Life after *ucking up a company".
Matty, time to go. Start thinking about that board design and go for it!
