Trying to understand demographics. There has to be a pattern. I think they tried to lay off people who were already disadvantaged one way or another.

I can tell you a large chunk of the marketing layoffs have been female and it's no coincidence. Both white and women of color.
It is helpful also to post age and if you are on visa. Sometimes there is lawyers costs and age discrimination.
