Mortified/Furious over Inconsistently Meets Rating

Infuriated/baffled that I received this ridiculous Inconsistently Meets rating, 15% cut to Bonus, and flat base salary, due to this rating. I understand this is the JP Morgan forced bell curve rating system which is not in full effect at Wells. I was... — read more

Stop Air Pollution by Stopping RTO

Corporations should stop polluting the air by eliminating RTO. Everyday, tens of millions of workers drive between their home and office, including Charlie's limousines. The same thing with hundreds of business flights every day, including Charlie's... — read more

Charlie got how much???

Anyone ever take the time to breakdown the rate of pay increase percentages over the years? Well, after seeing how big Charlie’s pay increase was in 2024 (is it going to be even higher in 2025?), I took the time to breakdown the numbers. Some years... — read more

Good thing we exited Auto Finance.

Trump's tariffs will shut down American auto production. Bye, bye US auto industry. Don't believe it? Go read what the executive chairwoman of Canadian auto parts maker Linamar said. “If, indeed, 10 or 25 percent is imposed, or, in my opinion... — read more

Bad Year End Review

Just informed that my group had a "curve" and I will be receiving a 1 or 2 on EOY review. Manager really didn't state ANY negative experience in my work ethic for 2024. Few small things here and there but nothing to drop my down from "Meets". Says... — read more

Wells Fargo raised Charlie Scharf's pay to 31.2M

EO in Sioux Falls, SD

Was EO going to be offshored but P&I were making too many mistakes so they decided not to?

PTO Payout Check

I haven’t been laid off yet but I’ve been given informal notice of a date. My severance will start on June 10. Is the PTO payout combined with my first severance payout installment or a payment cut separately? I don’t have it displacement package... — read more

Reorg Opportunity?

I’m getting reorged under a new manager to a position with much more responsibility. Managers, is there a way to turn this into an off cycle promotion or something? It looks an awful lot like more work for the same pay and job title.

401K match

I was laid off in September so I didn’t receive my 401K match. What if I am rehired within 6 months? Can I get it?

Internal/ external investigation

A co-worker of mine is working on getting a CFE as they want to move into the investigations area. Is this the right path for them. They’re convinced that it’s a requirement even though apps say it’s preferred. He’s says a bunch of people on LinkedIn... — read more

No Merit due to Upcoming Layoff

So, I learned I will get no merit this year, though I'm grateful I still get my bonus. No merit as I'm being laid off this spring. Does that seem right? Aren't merits a "reward" for last years performance? I'm so tired of the amount of rugs that have... — read more

I’m nearing 50

And I’m terrified of losing my job. A lot of my colleagues lost their jobs soon after they turned fifty, and the vast majority of them have been struggling ever since to find something else. Corporations are wasting so much human capital. At fifty... — read more

You Have to be Kidding Me

Cuts to staffing have gone too far. My US team is expected to do India 'clean-ups' everyday and then do our own work pushing code through the DevOps gauntlet. This means 10-12 hours day without compensation for extra hours. Of course extra hours... — read more

There are too many cooks in the kitchen

It's impossible to get anything done when you have a near 1:1 ratio of managers to IC's on calls. They just end up wasting everyone's time and su-k the life out of productivity with their constant tangents.

Don't you dare speak up

Retaliation is starting to feel like the norm around here. Instead of fixing problems, speaking up just puts a target on your back. Not to mention, it’s frustrating to see how reporting problems to HR often leads to more trouble than solutions. No... — read more

Voluntary severance

Would you take a voluntary severance if this was an option? I sure would.

Bruh

When will bonus and comp get the green light to be shared?

Hours in the office

Can managers track the actual hours of the day I’m in office, or just the total amount of time? If I worked 2pm - 9pm one day, would the reporting show me as signed in office for 7 hours, or specifically from 2-9pm?

Titles over results

Wells Fargo is overflowing with managers flaunting inflated titles while contributing nothing of value. They’re everywhere, clinging to their roles and dragging everything down. Clearing them out could solve countless issues, but they’ve built a... — read more

Displacement Notification

Some have written that they are going to be displaced in 2Q (assuming for non-core location strategy). Does this mean managers have already notified people?
