Complaints complaints complaints

It feels like Wells has lost the plot again. Now the new obsession is nps and COMPLAINTS. How many complaints did you log today? Why did you not log more complaints? Do they deliberately want you to fail?? I’ve seen this movie before and I DON’T like... — read more

FedEx package arriving 01/13

I received notification from FedEx that I have a package arriving 01/13. FedEx states it weighs 2lbs. Could this be the WF layoff package? Package is coming from WI. Thinking it may be Covid supply stuff.

Posts with names?

How come some posts with names are allowed like the "Jimbo McHale" one has been up for days and then some posts are removed - I saw one the other day with a specific HR party named and that was removed.

Making change happen (risk course)

For those who are in risk roles and need some levity, go to develop you and take t he required course in “making change happen”. I’d really like to know how much wf paid for this course. I’m sure it wasn’t cheap and goes to show how dumb leadership... — read more

Ask every large meeting about long term strategy

Hey all - if you all are concerned as much as I am about if the board is looking to piece out Wells Fargo and sell it entirely please start bombarding them anonymously with questions about their long term 3-5 to even 8 year strategy in all of the... — read more

Tech Secrataries

What is the purpose of someone using F7 (spell check) on CR's that are written by someone else? Middle management is afraid of technical people cause they dont know the domains they work in

Paying good employees to leave

You know what is most disheartening about the constant layoffs at WFC? They never hit the people who are the worst performers. No, they're intentionally targeting the most experienced and talented people to get them off payroll - they are basically... — read more

60-day notice for laid off employees eliminated?

Heard from a manager friend of mine that the updated 2021 employee handbook which is coming out shortly has deleted any reference to a 60-day notice period in the case of a displacement. Can anyone confirm?

Jimbo McHale is retiring in January 2020!

He will be leaving WIM Compliance and spending his time golfing in South Carolina. He will be replaced with a JP New Yorker who will be named shortly. Bye bye Jimbo.

New position at Wells Fargo

Hi guys (and ladies), I posted about a month ago when I accepted a new position at WF. Unfortunately I couldn't really figure out how the site worked and my post fell way behind and some people asked me to reply. My situation is that I was working... — read more

Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act

"Employees who are eligible for PTO will not receive additional PST beyond their annual PTO balance." So...before, I could take time off if I felt sick, but NOW, I can take time off if I feel sick? Stupendous!

Branch Closings

My rough estimate from the OCC site is 406 closures in Q4 2020. Not sure how that has been kept so quiet. I've only seen a couple of local articles mention the closures for their geography... — read more

Code of Ethics?

CS hires Jamie DImon's son-in-law (I'm sure he was the BEST man for the job) and then talks about ethics and doing what's 'right' in a code of ethics training video. Not quite irony. Hmm, what would happen if I 'raise my hand?' Still holding my... — read more

Bonuses?

Ok, who has the inside scoop on how well bonuses will be funded this year?

The site name is "thelayoff"

Am I the only one who does not care AT ALL about a layoff any more? At this point it feels like doing nothing is just fine.

Access to 401k during cutover to new platform

I am sure it’s covered in the fine print but it’s disgraceful they lock us out of our 401ks for two weeks to do this. I could see maybe a Saturday and Sunday. But two weeks? What if there is a market event and we need to make changes? Seems like... — read more

EEOC filing and WF

Does anyone have experience with WF and EEOC filing? What do they do, especially if it is for an ER case that was researched and closed as no evidence, but there is STRONG evidence?

Why isn't there a company-wide hiring freeze?

It's tiring to watch so many people being cut in the name of cost cutting while at the same time the company is happily hiring more people all over the place. The ELT should institute a hiring freeze company-wide, not just certain areas, until they... — read more

9 billion more dollars to cut

As previously announced the ban was planning to cut costs by $10 billion over several years. 2021 will be a major bloodbath.

Everything here shouldn't be taken seriously.

There is A LOT of misinformation here and people saying things that are simply not true. I have a strong feeling that about 50 percent of the people here have no relation with Wells Fargo Employment and they are just here to troll. This place is... — read more

401k match

Did anyone else notice the change in the 401k matching plan for this year going forward? Match will be once a year on or about December 15...that will save a LOT due to layoffs!

BOSSES: CONSIDER CARING A BIT

Employees speaking out is here to stay. You’ve often wanted to yell, “Between 9 and 5, it is company policy that we do not care about anything other than producing widgets. Get back to work.” This latest batch of rabble-rousers aren’t... — read more

Started getting anxious about layoffs in 2021

Happy new year everyone. Just want to check in to see if anyone has any information regarding the layoffs in 2021. What are the dates and how many will get laid off in 2021?

A pig tale

A group of us gals got together last night. Most of us are friends from WFC. One is from BAC. BAC friend asked us how things are at Wells lately. One gal answered, “They are trying to put lipstick on the pig, but not enough lipstick. It’s still... — read more
