Who else is really enjoying the free coffee in the break rooms and the custom yellow RTOLuv sugar cookies they made us? Our leaders really do value us, otherwise they wouldn’t do it. I for one sure am feeling the love!
Chase must be struggling
How is Chase still in business when all their leaders are bailing to come over here?? /s
First day back... and here is my observation (a story)
Before RTO--- I could wake up. Get my kids ready for school, drive them there, come back, pour myself a cup of coffee, and start my day. 7:30-8am tops.. I was more productive because I could start earlier and stay longer minus the commute, no... — read more
Has anyone been offered remote when you resigned?
I’m getting ready to take another offer to work remote. I actually like my job at Wells so I’m a little sad about it. I know this is wishful thinking but they won’t make an exception when you’re ready to walk- will they?
No RTO for me. After 9 years at WF, I just resigned at 10 a.m. PDT today.
I gave my 2 weeks notice today. I will not be doing RTO, period. I found a similar position at a large Credit Union here in So Cal. It pays about 5% more than what I am making now and I'll be a remote employee forever. Good bye Nicole and JC... — read more
Wall Street’s Rigid Culture Bends to Demands for Flexibility at Work
UBS, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, HSBC and BNY Mellon have all announced flexible work plans. Even JPMorgan Chase, the nation’s biggest bank and a hybrid-work holdout, expects that only about half its employees will ultimately be in the office five days a... — read more
More productive in the office?
If you hate RTO, your metrics should not reflect that you're more productive in the office. While in the office: Work 8 hours, and only 8 hours. Maybe even work 7h:50m or something like that. Less than 8h, but not enough to not make your boss... — read more
Code of Ethics training
What's with the goofy-looking models that were used in the Code of Ethics training? I guess they were less expensive than using photogenic people.
Anyone else find it disingenuous?
Getting lectured about Business Ethics by Charlie, when we are moving jobs overseas, enacting RTO and Location Strategies so that older workers end up quitting instead of being laid-off with severance?
Monday is the best day to go in
If you want to avoid "crowds" (if you can call 40% to 50% capacity a crowd), the best day to go in is Monday, followed by Friday. I've tested out every day in the past few weeks and the office on Monday is a ghost town. Friday is a little more... — read more
Is Business Continuity Still a Thing?
Considering between Workplace, Workday and Teamworks, I could be at any of 3 different addresses. How the heck will they know where to look if one of the locations blows up? This is nuts! How does anyone even know where they're supposed to be?
404 Breakout
Has anyone else found the 404 Breakout game on Tech Central? Basically a little game someone programmed on the website when a page can’t be found. At least someone is having fun at work.

The psychologist who foresaw the 'Great Resignation' thinks quit rates will remain high for another 2 to 3 years
Professor Anthony Klotz has been credited with coining the term "Great Resignation." In an interview with the FT, he predicted quit rates would remain high for another two to three years. January marked the eighth straight month in which more than 4... — read more
Downtown DSM. RTO failed
There are less people in today than a month ago. How about others?
I guess RTO is here to stay
I kept hoping it would go so bad that by now we'd be back to WFH but I guess that's not happening. I've been miserable for the past three weeks, so now that I know there's no going back, I'll start applying for remote jobs. It's not my first choice... — read more

Laying off America workers I feel favor of offshoring and not paying equal wages is racism and corporate colonialism.

Bom/serv mngrs
Just caught wind of their plan to layoff the service mngrs end of the year. Just when I thought this company is gearing towards the good something horrible always comes out.
You are irreplaceable

Smaller Banks Also Have Problems

1% Merit Increase, yet 3.6% Unemployment rate in March..
