with leader and HR person in invite. Leader is not manager. Meeting 'to provide important business updates'. Asks that I be a 'space to speak privately'. Adios, amigos.
Someone generating 1300 meeting invites
1300 meeting invites and adding 2600 people to its. In FEW hours. Now HR will know how this word FEW sounds and feels like. When they said 10% layoffs next FEW weeks.

I like how the message implies that those with unimportant roles can work from home but obviously if they aren't important roles, those are the ones getting cut.

Rumor has it there's a big company-wide announcement on the horizon, set to drop around 2:00 PM CT today. Managers will be lining up meetings from this afternoon through tomorrow morning to break the news of impending layoffs.
